On April 15th, 2008, CIR Laboratory obtained its Certification ISO 9001: 2000 in accordance with its quality policy.

« Our quality policy is to provide, at all time, superior or equivalent products or services to our customers demands. To achieve this, we commit to a continuous improvement process of our quality management system and always respect the ISO 9001:2000’s standard and directives. »

This certification covers research, tests and analyses, as well as the training in industrial materials science.

Calibration and benchmarking of critical instruments of CIR Laboratory are done on a periodic basis, taking into account the precision and repeatability criteria customary to the applicable normalised procedures.

Certificates of calibration as well as applied benchmarking procedures are available upon request. 

In January 2009, CIR laboratory obtained its accreditation from Ceradyne Inc. to conduct tensile and thermal conductivity testing on B₄C-Al composites for the nuclear industry.
